２０１６年１１月４日、千葉カントリークラブ川間コースにおいて恒例のニュージーランド大使トロフィーゴルフコンペを開催した。
Geoffrey Pierce武官がニュージーランド大使館の代表として参加された。参加者は２９名、豪大使館から３名、民間のオーストラリア人２名を含み女性の参加者も６名で、ゴルフプレーおよび賞品授与パーティーは和気あいあいとした雰囲気のなか、国際交流のよい機会であった。

New Zealand Ambassador’s Trophy Golf Competition was held at Chiba Country Club, Kawama Course on November 4, 2016.
Mr. Geoffrey Pierce, military attache attended as representative of the New Zealand Embassy. 29 players included 3 from the Australian Embassy, 2 players from the private sector and 6 lady players. The golf day including the prize awarding party was a fine occasion for international exchange
