今年のオーストラリア大使杯ゴルフ大会は、日本列島に台風が接近中であったにも拘わらず、湿気もさほどなく、曇り時々晴れという絶好のゴルフ日和の中、開催されました。
総合優勝の篭原 一晃様、そしてベスグロ優勝のジェームズ・パウンダー様、おめでとうございました！
そして、オーストラリア大使館を代表してご参加くださいましたアレックス・スコット様には表彰式のプレゼンターもお引き受けいただき、心より感謝申し上げます。
今回もオーストラリア、ニュージーランド、イギリス、アメリカ、中国、日本等々、将又日本生まれの外国育ち、と、まさに国際色豊かな方々がご参加くださり、ゴルフという共通の趣味を通じて和気あいあいと楽しく国際交流と親睦を深めた一日となりました。
太平洋クラブ・市原コースの武田支配人をはじめ、スタッフの皆様のご協力と手厚いご対応にもお礼申し上げます。
次回のJANZゴルフコンペは2026年秋（11月中旬～下旬頃）を予定しております。

This year’s Australian Ambassador’s Cup Golf was held on a perfect golf day with the sun occasionally peeking through the clouds. It may have been the calm before the storm as it was actually just a few days before the strong typhoon Jangmi swept across Japan’s Pacific coastline.
The event was enjoyed by participants young and old alike, with multinational backgrounds (Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand, UK, USA; just to name a few), and from all walks of life!
Congratulations to Mr. Kazuaki Kagohara for being the Overall Winner, and to Mr. James Pounder for being the Best Gross Winner.
Furthermore, our utmost appreciation to Alex Scott for representing the Australian Embassy and also being the Prize Presenter during the Presentation Ceremony.
Last but not least, our sincerest thanks go to each of the players! Without their participation and support, the tournament would not have been such a fun and successful event!
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Taiheiyo Club Ichihara Course, its manager and all the staff for their wonderful support and service.
Looking forward to seeing you all at our autumn golf event, most probably in mid-end November 2026.
